What is the expiation for a man's oath of divorce against his wife, if she asked for a divorce, and she actually requested it?

If you swore that you would divorce your wife if she wished for a divorce, and she informed you of that, then the divorce does not take effect. You are required to offer an expiation for breaking an oath (emancipating a slave, or feeding ten needy persons, or clothing them; and whoever cannot afford that, then fasting for three days). This is not a conditional divorce, but rather a promise. One must be cautious not to be negligent with the pronouncements of divorce.
