Why is it said that reason does not contradict the transmitted texts from the Qur’an and Sunnah, while the logic of reason is not accepted in critiquing the Gospel and the Torah?
"A distinction must be made between what minds are incapable of comprehending its wisdom and what they know to be false. The texts of the two revelations (Quran and Sunnah) do not contain anything that minds deem impossible; rather, minds may be unable to grasp their wisdom, or some may misunderstand them. As for other books, they contain superstitions, attribute indecencies to prophets, and imperfections to God. Furthermore, religious scholars added geographical, historical, and natural information, giving it a religious coloring, which led to the emergence of secularism in the West. There is a vast difference between the Quran, whose miraculous aspects increase with time, and other books, whose distortion is increasingly revealed with the passage of time."
