Is it permissible for the wife to admit someone she loves into her home without her husband's permission, and is the husband entitled to admit someone he loves into the wife's home without her permission, if the house belongs to the wife and they live in it together?

It is authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "No woman should fast while her husband is present except with his permission, and she should not allow anyone into his house while he is present except with his permission, and whatever she spends from his earnings without his command, half of its reward is for him." The apparent reason for the prohibition is that the house belongs to the husband. However, some scholars differed on this; Ibn Hajar explicitly stated that the prohibition remains even if the house does not belong to the husband. Consequently, the wife is not allowed to let anyone into her house except with her husband's permission as long as he is present. However, if he is not present, she is allowed to let in anyone she wishes from among her mahrams, friends, and others, as long as it is not forbidden. As for the husband, he is not allowed to let anyone into his wife's house except with her permission, and permission in this regard refers to custom and tradition.
