The debt must be returned to its owner or to his heirs if he is deceased. The debtor's responsibility is not absolved by paying it to his wife, mother, or anyone else while he is alive, unless he grants permission.

One must inquire about his address and contact him to pay the debt to the person desired, or transfer it to him with the transfer fee deducted. The borrower is not obligated to pay in a place other than the place of lending unless carrying it involves no cost, or if it involves a cost and the lender bears it.
