It is recommended to shave the pubic hair and the hair around the anus with a razor, as it is cleaner. It is permissible to trim it with scissors, or pluck it, or use depilatory cream (nura) and the like. The aim is to achieve cleanliness. If shaving is difficult, it is permissible to remove it with any hair remover, but shaving remains the best method.
