Is it permissible for me to renew a vow after breaking it?

It is not permissible to revoke a vow or go back on it after it has been made, based on the words of Allah Almighty: "Fulfilling vows and fearing a Day whose evil will be widespread" (Quran 76:7), and the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him."
