Is trading and speculating in international stocks of well-known companies like Microsoft, Intel, and Oracle forbidden (haram) or permissible (halal)?

Dealing in shares has been discussed in previous fatwas. As for the mentioned companies, the nature of their transactions is unknown, and it is highly probable that they do not adhere to halal principles, given that their owners are Jews and Christians who do not abstain from usury and unlawful dealings.
