Covering the face is prescribed and obligatory according to the most preponderant scholarly opinions. If the husband commands her not to cover it, then there is no obedience to him, because there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. If a Muslim woman cannot establish the rituals of her religion in a certain country, then emigration from that country becomes obligatory upon her. If she is compelled to reside there and cannot emigrate, then she must fear Allah, remain in her home, and not go out except out of necessity.
