Why were animals, plants, and inanimate objects created before humans, and what was their role at that time?
Allah created the universe for a purpose. It is stated in Muslim that animals, plants, and other things were created before Adam. Perhaps among these purposes was to prepare the earth for humankind and to honor them. Allah Almighty says: "And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference." So, Allah prepared everything in the universe to serve humans so that they could fulfill their primary function, which is the worship of Allah. It is characteristic of the Generous One to prepare the honor before the arrival of the honored guest. Moreover, all these things glorify Allah's praise. Allah Almighty says: "And there is not a thing except that it glorifies His praise, but you do not understand their glorification."
