ما معنى "محدّداتها"؟

This Hadith was narrated by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, and others. The phrase: "Indeed, Allah's hand is with the جماعت (community)" was authenticated by Al-Albani. As for "whoever deviates from them and dies, then his death is a death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah)," it was narrated with other wordings, such as: "Indeed, whoever opposes the community by a handspan and dies, then his death is a death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah)," as found in Ahmad's narration. The meaning of "muhdathatuha" (its innovations) is that which has no basis in the Sharia to attest to its validity, and these are the bid'ah (innovations).
