The answer

There is no room for preferring the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) over the Night of the Prophet's Birth (Laylat al-Mawlid), because the superiority of the Night of Decree is established by revelation, as Allah Almighty says: "The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months" (Quran 97:3). And it is stated in the Hadith: "In it is a night that is better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived." As for the Night of the Prophet's Birth, there is no sacred text that gives it preference over other nights.
