We advise you to be patient and make frequent supplications for Allah to mend your husband's ways and relieve your distress. We also suggest that you involve those who have influence with your husband to remind him of his responsibilities towards his family and of providing for you. We stress that a husband is obligated to financially support his wife. If he persists in neglecting your rights, you have the right to take the matter to court after consulting with those who possess expertise and sound judgment.
