Does a divorce delegated to an agent take effect if the husband temporarily suspends it and then reactivates it, given that it is the final pronouncement and not all procedures have been followed?

The husband's statement to the agent, "Complete the divorce procedures," constitutes a new authorization for him, and the agent's pronouncement of divorce upon you before the Sharia (definition) judge is valid. If this is the third pronouncement, then you are irrevocably divorced from him with a major baynunah (irrevocable separation). He cannot remarry you unless you marry another man willingly, consummate the marriage with him, and then he divorces you or dies, and your iddah (definition) (waiting period) from him expires. Divorce is not always evil, as Allah says: "But if they separate [by divorce], Allah will enrich each [of them] from His abundance."
