Is it permissible for a wife to return to her husband after two divorces that occurred during pregnancy, one of which was during a period of purity in which the husband had intercourse with his wife, and the other at the court, knowing that the husband took his wife back immediately after each divorce while she was in his home?

If a man divorces his pregnant wife, the divorce is valid by the consensus of jurists. For divorce to occur, it is not a condition that the spouses be in a state of purity. Repudiation of innovation (talaq (definition) bid'i) is also valid. If the divorces are three, the wife becomes irrevocably separated from her husband (baynunah kubra), and she is not lawful for him until she marries another husband and he separates from her. Spouses must act with reason and wisdom in marital problems to avoid regret.
