It is permissible for a man to have intercourse with his wife without cover or in the restroom. However, in the latter case, it will entail violating the by not mentioning Allah before intercourse, because the recommended remembrance is: "Bismillah, Allahumma jannibnash-shaytana, wa jannibish-shaytana ma razaqtana" (In the name of Allah, O Allah, keep Satan away from us and keep Satan away from what You have provided for us). It is not permissible to mention Allah in places where one relieves oneself.
