Can a wife be taken back after being divorced twice, knowing that she has completed her 'iddah (three menstrual cycles), and that the second divorce was with a repeated phrase ("You are divorced, you are divorced, you are divorced") with the intention of it counting as a single divorce, and the first divorce occurred with the words "You are divorced" while she was attempting suicide and she was taken back after 17 days?

If the husband did not intend divorce by writing, it does not take effect according to the majority of scholars. Therefore, a message sent via mobile phone does not constitute a divorce as long as you did not intend it. Your saying to your wife: "You are divorced, you are divorced, you are divorced," intending it as a single divorce, results in only one divorce. Thus, this would be the second divorce. Since her (waiting period) has ended, you cannot take her back except with a new marriage contract, by which you would possess one remaining divorce.
