Can I return to my husband, from whom I was divorced unwillingly through Khulʿ, without first marrying another man?

The coercion that is considered valid in Islamic law for divorce is what has been previously explained in Fatwa (definition) no. 72802. Irrevocable divorce (طلاق بائن) is of two types: Major Irrevocable Divorce (Bainunah Kubra), which occurs after three divorces, after which the woman is not permissible for her divorcing husband until she marries another man and he consummates the marriage with her; and Minor Irrevocable Divorce (Bainunah Sughra), which occurs before consummation, or a revocable divorce whose waiting period has ended without a return, or Khul‘ (divorce at the wife’s insistence), or a judge’s divorce. Khul‘ is a minor irrevocable divorce, after which the husband can return to his wife with a new contract and a new dowry, without the need for her to marry another man.
