If the divorce is revocable, the husband may take his wife back during her waiting period (iddah (definition)) without her consent or knowledge. She is not entitled to stipulate money for the return, and such a condition is not binding. However, if he takes her back after the iddah has expired, with a new contract and a dowry of ten thousand, this becomes a debt upon him that he must pay.
