Is it permissible to supplicate for the return of the suitor after the engagement has been broken, knowing that Istikhara was previously performed concerning this engagement?

It is permissible to supplicate that Allah rectify the relationship between the engaged couple, and this is not an objection to Allah's decree, for Allah has commanded us to supplicate. However, it is important to note that the suitor is a stranger to his fiancée until the legitimate marriage contract is concluded. Therefore, it is not permissible for her to be in seclusion with him or to be overly familiar with him in interaction, except out of necessity and in the presence of a mahram (definition).
