Should a man divorce his wife, to whom he is already married by contract, after she showed aversion towards him and claimed that she was enchanted or possessed, this coming after she had initially agreed to the marriage?

If the Sharia (definition)-compliant marriage contract has been concluded with all its conditions met, then the woman is your wife, and she has no right to refuse you without a legitimate Sharia excuse. To address the change that has occurred in her, we advise cooperating with her parents and friends to convince her to complete the marriage. There is no harm in performing ruqyah (definition) on her if there is a fear of jinn possession or sorcery affecting her. If she does not accept, and you fear problems and wish to divorce her, there is no sin upon you.
