No one among creation can stand between you and the good that Allah has decreed for you, nor can they repel harm that Allah has decreed for you. Allah says: "Indeed, We have created all things with a decree." The suitor should strive to solve the problem, knowing that he is not permitted to marry if his father does not approve, for obedience to the father is obligatory. Regarding the ruling on swearing by divorce, please refer to No. 32607.
