If there is doubt about the condition upon which a divorce is suspended, the divorce does not take effect, because the default is the continuation of the marriage. Al-Ruhaibani mentioned in "Matalib Uli al-Nuha" that divorce is not necessitated by doubt concerning it or the condition upon which it is suspended, even if it is non-existent, for the default is the continuation of the marital bond until that which removes it is proven.
