What is the ruling on someone who intended to perform 'Umrah on behalf of a deceased person but did not complete it due to exhaustion, and does his wife become unlawful to him after years of their marriage?

Whoever performs Umrah (definition) but does not complete the Sa'i remains in a state of ihram (definition), as Sa'i is a pillar without which the Umrah is not complete. The one who omitted Sa'i must return to it and perform it from the beginning, completing the seven circuits, due to the interruption that breaches the continuity. Any transgressions of ihram prohibitions that occurred during this period are excused due to ignorance. However, once the person learns the legal ruling, it becomes forbidden for them to commit these transgressions. The marriage contract must be renewed after completing the Umrah, because a marriage contract is not valid while in a state of ihram.
