What occurred between you and your wife is considered consummation (dukhool), and the divorce you pronounced upon her is binding upon you. Anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce unless it reaches a state of unconsciousness. If you divorced her three times or more, she has become irrevocably separated from you (baa'inat) and is unlawful for you until she marries another husband. However, if you did not reconcile with her after the first or second divorce until her waiting period ('iddah (definition)) expired, then any subsequent divorce is not considered valid. In this case, you must refrain from her until you both perform a new, legitimate marriage contract. The son is not considered a child of fornication and is attributed to you because you both believed the marital bond remained. A conditional divorce takes effect upon the fulfillment of the condition.
