The answer

If you divorce your wife before consummating the marriage, she is entitled to half of the agreed-upon Mahr (dowry), unless she waives it. If you are unable to fulfill her right, it becomes a debt upon you that must be paid when you are able to do so, and they must grant you a respite if you are in financial difficulty. We advise you not to rush into divorce, as it may be a feeling from Satan who seeks to sow discord between spouses. Affection and understanding require patience and overlooking faults. "A believing man should not hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." We also advise both of you to perform (Islamic exorcism), as the cause of aversion might be envy or magic.
