The answer

Residing in lands of disbelievers poses a danger to a Muslim's faith and morals, and is not permissible except under specific conditions. Intermingling in workplaces is a reprehensible act that brings calamities and opens doors to corruption. A wife conversing and laughing, and being in seclusion with a foreign man is a reprehensible act that must be changed, and the husband is primarily responsible for changing this reprehensible act. A husband's approval of this reprehensible act is considered cuckoldry (dayathah). The spouses must be advised, and the حرمة (sacred unlawfulness) of their actions must be clarified to them. They should be threatened with informing the husband, and if they do not stop, the husband can be informed if he is unaware, provided that informing him does not lead to a greater harm.
