The answer

The wife's work in an interest-based (usurious) bank is a great error and sin that requires repentance. Even if the bank is not interest-based, it is impermissible except with the husband's consent and provided that it does not lead to neglecting the rights of Allah or conjugal rights. She is mistaken in demanding to return to the house which causes hardship for the husband, and the husband is not obliged to fulfill her desires. It is advised to be gentle with her in admonition and persuasion, for woman was created from a rib, and she will not be straightened in any way.
