Does the Prophet's saying, "Indeed, you are disobedient," mean that fasting is forbidden for the traveler?

It is disliked for a traveler to fast if they encounter hardship, and it may become forbidden if it harms them or if they fear perishing. The hadith (definition) "Those are the disobedient ones" refers to those for whom fasting was difficult, or who defied the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) command to break their fast. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) broke his fast so that they would emulate him, and when they did not, he called them disobedient. He did not intend to absolutely prohibit fasting during travel. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself sometimes fasted while traveling, and he would not have done so if it were a sin.
