The answer

If a husband travels with one of his wives with the consent of the other, he is not obliged to make up the travel period for the wife who remained behind. However, if a husband is detained away from one of his wives, he must make up the period he was absent from her, whether that was due to an excuse or without an excuse, because her right was missed due to his absence. It is not a condition that these days of making up be consecutive; rather, he should space them out, so that he does not spend more than three consecutive nights with her, out of consideration for the right of the other wife.
