The answer

"Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and companions. As for what follows:

Discharge is considered menstruation in the following cases: if it comes connected to menstruation after it, at the beginning, or during its time. And if the discharges, whether brown or yellow in the last part of menstruation or its beginning without separation, then it is a part of it. It is required that there should be fifteen days or more between this discharge and the previous cycle, otherwise, it is not considered. Accordingly, the days during which fasting was observed must be made up."
