The answer

It is permissible for a Muslim to perform Tarawih prayers consecutively or separately at any part of the night. It is permissible for a woman to pray them and to separate between the rak'ahs to perform household chores, and she will be rewarded for her prayer and her service to her husband and home. The husband's right takes precedence over Tarawih prayers because his right is obligatory. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade a woman from observing voluntary fasts except with her husband's permission, because the obligatory takes precedence over the supererogatory. The wife must balance between the two matters, and the husband should be a helper to her in acts of obedience.
