Is it permissible to fast the White Days intermittently at the beginning and end of the month, or to fast the 12th, 14th, and 15th instead of the 13th, 14th, and 15th?

If you wish to fast three days every month, it is best to fast the White Days (Ayyam al-Bid). However, if you fast three separate days, you will still receive the reward for your fasting, and there is no sin upon you.
