Does a small amount of water entering the pharynx during sniffing in ablution invalidate the fast? Is atonement for delaying the making up of fasts obligatory for someone who knew their fast was invalid and made it up later? How can one get rid of scrupulousness regarding the validity of the fast? Is prayer valid if the nose and forehead are slightly lifted from the ground during prostration and then corrected?
1. Water entering the body cavity without exaggeration or intention does not invalidate the fast.
2. Making up for previous Ramadans is sufficient, and no expiation is required if the questioner was unaware that her fast was invalid.
3. Placing the forehead and nose firmly on the ground during prostration is a according to the majority of scholars.
4. Glorifying Allah (Tasbeeh) in prostration is a Sunnah according to the majority of scholars, and obligatory according to the Hanbalis, and a single Tasbeeh is sufficient.
5. The cure for obsessive whispers (waswasah) is to ignore them, pay no attention to them, and seek refuge in Allah.
