Does merely tasting the sweet flavor of infant milk powder on a finger, without swallowing it, invalidate the fast, knowing that the fast is a make-up for Ramadan?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
The fast of one who tastes food but does not intentionally swallow anything from it is valid and there is no harm in it. However, it is disliked to do so without need. If any food enters the stomach unintentionally, the fast is not broken.
