The answer

If vomit exits involuntarily from a fasting person and none of it returns to the pharynx, then their fast is valid and not broken, even if they feel a bitter taste on their tongue; due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever is overcome by vomit while fasting does not have to make up the day, but whoever induces vomit must make up the day."
