Is it necessary to complete the fast after eating forgetfully twice?

Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully while fasting should complete their fast, and there is no penalty upon them, whether the eating and drinking were much or little, and whether it happened once or repeatedly. This is based on the general statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever eats forgetfully while he is fasting, let him complete his fast, for it is Allah who has fed him and given him drink." This ruling applies to both obligatory and supererogatory fasts.
