Is it obligatory to make up or offer expiation when in doubt about invalidating the fast, while intending to make it up as a precaution?

Satan is keen on corrupting a person’s religion and worldly life, and afflicting them with worry, grief, doubt, and whispers. Therefore, seek refuge in Allah from him and pay no attention to his whispers. Know that fasting is not invalidated except by certainty, and what you find of doubts are whispers from Satan. You are not required to make up (the fasts) unless you broke your fast with certainty, for certainty is not removed by doubt.
