The answer

Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully while fasting, their fast is valid, and they are not required to make up for it; because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever forgets while he is fasting and eats or drinks, let him complete his fast, for it was Allah who fed him and gave him drink." However, if he intentionally continues to eat and drink after that, he must make up for every day he broke his fast.
