How do we respond to those who condemn strictness regarding Islamic manifestations, such as wearing the jilbab, on the grounds that the female companions wore what was common in their era, and that contemporary and climatic conditions necessitate wearing what suits them, and that many women who adhere to the Islamic appearance do not adhere to Islamic ethics?

A woman is not permitted to remove her hijab (definition) simply because she is in a non-Muslim country, as it is an obligation explicitly stated in the Holy Quran. She is allowed to wear trousers under the hijab due to extreme cold, but without it, it is not permissible because it describes the woman's 'awrah (intimate parts) and allure. A woman wearing trousers without a hijab falls under the category of "women who are dressed yet naked." The claim that the hijab was exclusive to the female companions of the Prophet (Sahabiyat) is false; the hijab is an obligation for women of this era, even more so due to the prevalence of immorality. The misconduct of some women who wear the hijab does not diminish its value, for it is an obligation that is not waived by people's actions.
