There is no harm in a Muslim supplicating for whatever he desires of the good in this world and the Hereafter, because Allah Almighty says: "And your Lord says: 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you,'" and because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Let one of you ask his Lord for his every need, even for the shoelace of his sandal if it breaks."
