Is marriage during studies, in a country where tribulations are numerous, likely to impede academic achievement or negatively affect the student? And is proceeding with it considered a mistake, especially with the parents' refusal?
Residing in non-Muslim countries is perilous, and it is not permissible for one who fears temptation to live there. Marriage is a great matter, especially in protecting one's chastity, and it is obligatory for one who is capable and fears falling into fornication. Obedience to parents is obligatory in what is good and permissible, and it does not include anything that harms one's religion. Marriage is not always an impediment to study; rather, it can be a cause for excellence. If you are unable to marry and fear temptation, then you must emigrate to a Muslim country where you can complete your studies and be secure in your faith.
