The (sacrificial animal) is a great ritual among the rituals of Allah, through which the believer draws closer to his Lord, and it is not a subject for ridicule. It is a sign of glorifying the rituals and of piety.
Allah Almighty has commanded its slaughter, the mention of His name over it, eating from it, and giving charity to the poor; for it contains goodness in eating, charity, and reward. A Muslim must thank Allah for His subjugation of these livestock for him.
It is not permissible to set animals against each other to fight, due to the harm it inflicts upon the animal and the foolishness of the act. If it is said to be an Udhiyah, then it is for Allah and a trust in the hand of its owner, so he must preserve it and protect it from harm.
