What is the ruling on working or participating in a fish shop in Italy that sells frozen fish as fresh, knowing that the owner of the shop is not Muslim?

Islam prohibits deception and devouring people's wealth unjustly. This includes selling goods under false pretenses, such as selling frozen fish as fresh. It is not permissible for a Muslim to engage in such deception, and partnering with the shop owner is even more forbidden.

If the questioner participated and gained profit, he must repent and dispose of the unlawful money by giving in charity an amount equivalent to the difference in price between fresh and frozen fish.
