A Muslim must choose his wife well, for a righteous wife protects her husband in herself and his wealth, and she is the best provision in this world.
One should not be hasty or deceived merely by a woman's claim that she has repented. Rather, her situation must be inquired about from those who know her, especially if the acquaintance was made online. If her rectitude is confirmed, then he may marry her; otherwise, he should look for someone else.
All emotional relationships with a non- woman must be severed, as they are a pretext for tribulation and corruption.
