What is the ruling on one who treads on bread with his foot, whether intentionally or unintentionally? Does the ruling differ based on the intention? And what is the ruling on one who issues a fatwa prohibiting that without legitimate Sharia evidence?

Bread must be respected and honored, and not subjected to any form of degradation, such as trampling it underfoot or throwing it into refuse, as this constitutes a disregard for a blessing. As for one who accidentally treads on bread without intending to degrade it, there is no blame upon him, for Allah Almighty says: "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make a mistake."
