What is the ruling on working in a field that involves offering medical bribes to doctors to market medicines, and are the salary and commissions obtained from this work considered permissible (halal) or forbidden (haram), and are simple gifts and invitations to doctors considered a form of bribery?

Bribery is forbidden and is considered a major sin, based on the hadith (definition): "Allah curses the one who gives a bribe and the one who takes it." It is forbidden to solicit or offer it, especially to doctors, due to the potential religious prohibitions that may result from it, such as prescribing an unsuitable medication. It is forbidden for a representative or distributor to offer a bribe or mediate in it, as he would be a ra'ish (mediator of a bribe), and a ra'ish is cursed. However, inviting doctors to introduce them to new medications and offering symbolic items not intended to influence the doctor does not fall under prohibited bribery.
