Social Security Fund: If its dealings are compliant with Islamic law and free from usury (riba) and investment in unlawful matters, then there is no objection to subscribing to it. Otherwise, it is not permissible. Paying obligations on behalf of another institution for which you have not worked involves deception and consuming wealth unjustly, and therefore it is not permissible.

Pension Fund: If its dealings are lawful, then there is no objection to benefiting from what will be received. However, if its dealings and earnings are unlawful, then it is not permissible to benefit from more than what you have paid, and the remainder should be disbursed to those in need.
