Is the reward for Hajj and Umrah (Hajj and Umrah [in reference to the specific reward for sitting after Fajr prayer until sunrise]) interrupted if a woman is compelled to leave her prayer area to wake her husband or care for her child?

If a person is keen on performing an act of worship but an impediment prevents them from doing so, they will still receive its reward. This is based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "If a servant falls ill or travels, what he used to do when he was healthy and at home will be written for him." A Muslim is also rewarded for their good intention, even if they do not act upon it, such as someone who wishes to do good with wealth if they had it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He is sincere in his intention. He says, 'If I had wealth, I would do what so-and-so does.' So, his intention is [counted], and their reward is equal." The questioner's eagerness to observe the Sunnah (definition) of sitting in the prayer area after Fajr until sunrise, and her excuse of waking her husband for Fajr prayer, does not prevent her from receiving the reward; rather, it is another good deed for her, and she will be rewarded for it, Allah willing.
