What is the expiation for passing the Miqat and entering into ihram from Al-Taneem for Umrah due to ignorance of the ruling, and is my wife also obligated to offer expiation?

Whoever intended ' and entered into a state of after passing the out of ignorance, then he must offer a (expiation) by slaughtering an animal in Makkah and distributing its meat among its poor. A sheep is sufficient for this.
