The question

Is there any consequence for someone who stoned the Jamarat on the second day of Tashreeq, then descended and performed the farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada'), then returned to Mina and spent the night of the third day of Tashreeq there because his companions were lost, and then descended and performed the farewell circumambulation a second time on that day without stoning the Jamarat?

The answer

If the pilgrim returns to Mina on the twelfth day before sunset with the intention of departing, but is then compelled to stay overnight because he lost his companions, then there is nothing upon him.
